Counter-march loom

Complete Texsolv tie-up for a counter-march loom: jacks, shafts, upper and lower lamms and treadles, figure 19.

Counter-march loom, drawing from the Texsolv folder

The counter-march loom (variation, figure 19). The jacks at the top hang on adjustable connections (G), with the two centre cords joined by E. The shaft bars are attached with permanent connections (C), the lamms with B and C, and the treadles with adjustable connections (G). The upper lamms lift the shafts and the lower lamms sink them, so every treadle is tied to every shaft, either up or down. The whole loom hangs on Texsolv cord and pegs, without a knot to tie.
